These terms cover your use of the Afriludo mobile app and this website. By using Afriludo you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Using Afriludo
Afriludo is free to play. You do not create an account with a password; the app identifies your installation automatically and gives you a display name you can change.
Your display name
You are responsible for the name you choose. Do not use a name that:
- impersonates another person, Afriludo staff, or the game itself;
- is abusive, hateful, obscene or harassing;
- advertises something, or misleads other players.
We may change or reset a name that breaks these rules.
Fair play
Please do not:
- use a modified client, automation, or any method of influencing dice rolls or game state other than playing the game;
- interfere with our servers, attempt to gain access to other players' data, or disrupt other people's games;
- deliberately abandon games to affect other players' results, or harass other players.
We may suspend or block access for anyone doing these things. Games are for enjoyment; ruining someone else's is the one thing we will act on quickly.
Availability
We do our best to keep online play working, but we do not promise it will always be available or uninterrupted. Games may be interrupted by network problems, maintenance or faults, and in-progress matches may be lost. The offline local-network mode does not depend on our servers.
Our content
Afriludo, its name, artwork and software are owned by us and protected by copyright. You may use the app for personal play. You may not copy, modify, redistribute or reverse-engineer it except where the law expressly allows.
No warranty
Afriludo is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law permits. We do not warrant that it will be free of errors or that it will meet your expectations.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Afriludo. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Some countries do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use Afriludo after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed], without regard to conflict of law rules.
